King Von

KingKing Von (real name Dayvon Daquan Bennett) was born on 8 August of 1994 in Chicago, Illinois, to Walter Bennett and Taesha. Through his mother, he had three siblings. However, the father had six half-siblings. Since his father was spending so long in prison, Bennett was mostly taken care of by his mom. He was 11 when his father was shot and killed. When he was 16, Bennett did his first time in the jail, which was but the start of several run-ins with the law. Afterward, he earned a few college credits at South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois. In order to get back on track due to legal trouble, Bennett began pursuing his career in music, collaborating frequently with fellow rapper Lil Durk.Although "Welcome to O'Block" was the sole studio album Von released during his lifetime The posthumous album "What it means to be King" came out posthumously in March of 2022.
