
Jacob Christopher, an American mixed martial artist, is also a politician. He is currently a Combate Americas promotee. His stints at the Ultimate Fighting Championship are his most prominent. He was an earlier Light Heavyweight champion and held the title from April 14, 2000 to September 26, 2003. Alongside other fighters like Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell, he was among the sport's early stars. Ortiz was the biggest pay-per viewing draw in 2006 due to his fights with Forrest Griffin and Ken Shamrock.
